Mapy tożsamości – open call – poznajcie wyniki
Open Call „Mapy Tożsamości” zgromadził over 70 zgłoszeń podejmujących temat szeroko rozumianego dyskursu władzy w kontekście płci i tożsamości.
„Mapy Tożsamości” od początku pomyślane były jako wystawa wspólnotowa – przestrzeń spotkania, dialogu i wzajemnego słuchania. To próba zwrócenia uwagi na trudności wynikające z norm, oczekiwań i systemów, na które nie mieliśmy wpływu, ponieważ to, kim jesteśmy i jacy się urodziliśmy, nigdy nie było kwestią wyboru.
Dziękujemy wszystkim osobom studenckim ASP w Katowicach za odwagę, zaangażowanie i gotowość do zabrania głosu na temat płciowości, tożsamości i doświadczeń osobistych.
Wybrane prace zostaną zaprezentowane na wystawie „Mapy Tożsamości” oraz w towarzyszącym jej zinie.

The “Maps of Identity” Open Call received over 70 submissions exploring the broad discourse of power in relation to gender and identity.
From the outset, “Maps of Identity” was conceived as a collective exhibition – a space for community, dialogue, and mutual listening. It draws attention to the difficulties shaped by norms, expectations, and systems beyond our control, reminding us that who we are and how we were born has never been a matter of choice.
We would like to thank all students of the Academy of Fine Arts in Katowice for their courage, engagement, and willingness to speak out on issues of gender, identity, and lived experience.
Selected works will be presented in the “Maps of Identity” exhibition and in the accompanying zine.
