Born in Bytom in 1985, graduate of graphic design from the Academy of Fine Arts in Katowice (diploma at the Typography Studio in 2009), and of cultural studies from the University of Silesia’s Inter-Faculty Individual Studies in Humanities (2009). She has been working at the AFA’s Chair of Graphic Design since 2009, teaching typography basics, type and design, and digital publications design. She specialises in book design and data visualisation. Her research touches on local topics, looking for design inspiration in the history of Upper Silesia, which has resulted in the book Nowi Ślązacy. Miasto, dizajn, tożsamość (The New Silesians. City, Design, Identity). She is passionate about modernist architecture and promotes its popularisation. In addition to her academic and design activities she conducts workshops and engages in interdisciplinary research projects.
