Born in Gliwice in 1949, he graduated from the Faculty of Graphic Art of the Academy of Fine Arts in Kraków (branch in Katowice) in 1973. He obtained his diploma at Prof. Andrzej Pietsch's Printmaking Studio and Doc. Gerard Labus's Spatial Graphic Design Studio and became a teacher at the Katowice branch of the AFA in Kraków, currently the Academy of Fine Arts in Katowice, in 1974. His work includes printmaking (lithography, serigraphy), computer graphics, painting, posters, graphic design and book art.
