“Workshop practice”: exhibition presenting the works of firs-year students of Graphic Art at the Academy of Fine Arts in Katowice
The exhibition focuses on the works created during the Introduction to Printmaking classes in the studios of lithography, linocut, intaglio and serigraphy. Calmness and precision mix with intensity, illustration with abstraction, complicated content with impression. The project face the challenges of the chosen technique, while the final shape is always vulnerable to accident. The resulting works are a diversified review of stylistic, formal, thematic and semantic pursuits.
The exhibition will the presented at the Zespół Szkół Plastycznych in Tarnów (ul. Westwalewicza 6) from 16 to 29 September 2019. Opening: 16 September, 17:00.
