Energia-Napięcia (Energy-Tensions): exhibition of Polish prints
Over twenty Polish artists, different printing techniques and the industrial space of Galeria Elektrownia in Czeladź
All works comprise a visual narrative on the condition of the contemporary human. This time, it is perceived in the context of energy and the accompanying states of tension, both internal and external.
The fact that the exhibition is presented in the “energetic” environment of the interiors and equipment of a historical electric plant only adds to its symbolic meaning. Thanks to the suggestive background, the works incidentally confront the industrial reality and construct additional facets of visual and mental tensions.
The exhibition can be viewed from 5 to 29 September. The opening will take place on Wednesday 18 September at 18:00.
