A graduate of the Faculty of Social Sciences of the University of Silesia in Katowice in political science (1984) and sociology (1989, with distinction). A university lecturer, trainer, advisor, consultant, analyst and practitioner with over 20 years’ experience in marketing communication, promotion, advertising and public relations. Author and co-author of over 30 promotion strategies in territorial marketing (3 regions, several cities of different sizes, rural municipalities, inter-municipal projects). He has served as an expert in projects evaluating the information and promotion activities of European Funds, author of the analysis of the 2007-2013 National Cohesion Strategy visual identity system. He conducts research and publishes papers on the visual identity systems of local governments. Co-author (with Anna Adamus-Matuszyńska) of the book titled Identyfikacja wizualna polskich województw, miast i powiatów (Visual identity of Polish voivodships, towns and districts).
