Born in Zabrze in 1977, he studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Katowice (diploma with distinction at the Intaglio Techniques Studio in 2003) and at the University of Silesia (branch in Cieszyn, diploma in 2002). He has been teaching at the AFA in Katowice since 2003, obtaining the degree of Doctor of Fine Arts in 2005, and associate professor (dr hab.) in 2010. Currently he is a professor at the AFA in Katowice, where he runs the Interpretation of Literature Studio. Dean of the Faculty of Art in 2008-2012, Vice-Rector for Education and Student Affairs from 2012. He was twice a grantee of the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage. Author of several dozen solo exhibitions and participant of over 200 group exhibitions in Poland and abroad, winner of many awards and distinctions. His work focuses on visual arts and graphic art. Curator of the 9th Triennial of Polish Graphic Art in Katowice.
