International Biennial of Students’ Graphic Design
The International Biennial of Students’ Graphic Design is a comprehensive presentation of the latest achievements in graphic design (book, poster, illustration, catalogue, company’s identification, multimedia) which result from the didactic process or independent work of a student or graduate. The review intends to compare syllabuses of individual art schools, present various creative approaches as well as select the most original, innovative and inspiring solutions. Biennial is both a review and the competition.
Event will be accompanied by an international scientific conference "Responsible Graphic Design," which theme will focus on issues of responsibility of work of the designer and teacher of graphic design.
As in previous editions we invited to participate in AGRAFA about 20 universities in the country (academies and other higher education institutions, state and private, carrying out activities in the field of graphic design) and 25 European partner schools working under the student exchange programs: Socrates - Erasmus and CEEPUS (Hungary, Slovakia, Czech Republic, United Kingdom, Romania, France, Greece, Portugal, Spain, Italy, Croatia). This allows the flow of information between European universities, students and teachers and present current developments in European design ideas.
The exhibition opening of AGRAFA will be held on January 12, 2010 at "the Roundabout Art Gallery".
It will last until the end of January 2010.
